Post with a lot of information about 1.0?
I was thinking of making a screenshot laden post on what’s changing/improved with 1.0, but it’ll be a lot of work. Do you guys think you’d like that/would it be beneficial?

I’m betting most people reading your blog are using the beta, and consequentially already know most of the new features. Perhaps you could highlight some choice tidbits, such as transparency for the background of message windows.

i think that it would be very useful, i don’t have the beta installed but i still read the blog. It would be great to see the major changes and some of the more cooler less known ones too!

Am using the beta, too…and I think I’ve only noticed a few features. A big post would be nice, and would help some of us get our friends to start using Adium, maybe.

I would be interested in an easy to follow comparison of features between the actual IM clients(MSN,AIM,ICQ,YAHOO,GADU-GADU,QQ,etc) and Adium. That way as a new user, I know what I can and cannot do if I switch to Adium.

I’ve never used the beta so a a few photos and simple explanations of new features showed in the pictures would be cool. Thanks for the great work!

Happily using .89.1 at the moment, and have no idea how to start using the beta, so would love to see some screen shots of the new version. Also some sort of date for the release of the new version would be nice

I was really looking forward to the release of 1.0 until I realized that I had no idea what makes 1.0 so much better than .89…

I haven’t use the beta but love adium and follow it’s progress, please give us users a run through so we know what to look for and utilize when the new version rolls out.
I hate it when I never knew about some cool feature in an application.

I HIGHLY agree with this. A feature comparison matrix would be hugely helpful.

Even if most people who regularly read the blog are using the Beta, if such a post were written, it would end up on Digg and the rest of the world would then be able to look forward to the new, improved Adium.
