Adium 1.1.4

We’re proud to announce Adium 1.1.4, a bugfix release in the Adium 1.1 series. We’ve fixed almost all Mac OS X 10.5-related issues in Adium 1.1.3, most notably contact list drag & drop, the image picker, and interactions with Spaces. This version also fixes a number of issues for all users of Adium 1.x: log indexing and searching has been improved, passwords are no longer improperly removed from the Keychain, several crashes have been addressed, and more. See the version history for the full list. Chat away, my wayward sons (and daughters)!

Join us or help us! Please see Contributing to Adium for how you can submit patches and code, hunt down bugs, and donate to support further development! Thanks as always for the continued support of our excellent site and code host NetworkRedux and our download host CacheFly!

    Written words don’t even come close to express my appreciation for your work. I am really excited about your plans for 1.2 with A/V Chat, oh hey, just send a Mail to Apple to exchange iChat with Adium, hm? maybe? ;-)

    Great :) , but using adium 1.1.3 on leopard when i check for new versions of adium it says i have the newest version. This happened last time too (from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3) dont you update the updater when you release new versions, or is this a bug?

  9. Zac West Says:

    It’s a bug that is fixed in 1.1.4, so you shouldn’t have problems after this release. I’ll see about bandaid-fixing 1.1.3 to see 1.1.4.

    Still having trouble with MSN, Adium cannot log on. “Connection error from Notification server: Reading error” Thanks!

    == Adium Speech ==
    Please add speech support to Adium! ICQ for Mac had it. Spoken signals are much better than ‘train station’ sounds etc.pp.

    a., Adium does this. See the Events preference pane.

    since i installed leopard, when i have the chat window toolbar set to “text only” and i click on “icon” to see the user’s icon, it still does not show it even with this update. with the toolbar set to icon & text, or icon only, if you click on the icon you can see the bigger icon, though

    Adium is great, i just think 2-3 things should be fixed for the msn account:
    1) Audio and Video support
    2) Adding the second line of the nickname in the list (don’t know the name, the second part under the nick you can add on MSN on windows)
    3) Receive offline messages (like in amsn or msn)
    However i <3 adium. ^^

    You’re great! Now you’ve achieved almost anything you could! Even account pictures work properly in ICQ! If I weren’t a poor student, I’d certainly send you some donation. But once I’ll get a job, I’ll be happy to donate, because you guys do such a great job (and for free!).

    just another note about MSN failing to sign in to the server.. it seems to be intermittent, sometimes it works, but mostly just fails.. great program thanks for the hard work!
