[Adium-devl] Support for adding new view?

I'm not sure what you mean by a new view -- where exactly would you
want said view to show up?
Adding meta-data in a per-user fashion is done with our ByObject prefs
Chris brings up an excellent point -- we were thinking of adding an
International area to the get info window (it's getting a facelift
soon, more on that as I have time to write it) with per-user Spell
Check prefs and timezone information.
As far as a UI goes, what you would probably want would be to add a
new item to the Window menu to "Show Contacts Globe" (it would change
to Hide when the window is visible, obviously). Then it would bring up
a window with your cool (xearth-style?) globe. Adding menu item is
done via our Menu Controller, and then it's just standard NSMenuItem
stuff to hook that up to a target/action to show/hide you window.

trying to stabilize and clean up the plugin architecture so plugin
