Icon update proposal

As a member of the 'old guard' I have to say that I very much DISAGREE with the overuse of the duck (and I think Evan and Colin would probably agree with me as well although I'll not put words in their mouth).
What I interpreted to be at issue was whether or not it was ok to use the duck in place of a person. On this issue, I don't so much have a problem with it. As the others said, it's part of our persona. It wasn't that EVERY icon should contain a duck, it was just that we shouldn't remove all uses of it in the prefs just because it wasn't a person. That said, I don't have any objection to trying to enforce consistency, but I also don't think using the outline of the duck is going to be confusing.
The duck is indeed part of the personality of the app, but just like any bit of branding, it loses all meaning if it's overused. I'm very much against the idea of making all of these icons duck-inclusive (or even most of them).
