Hi, i’m not sure if this is the correct place to post this but if it isn’t i apologize.
I think Adium is one of the most wonderful and Mac-like instant messengers. I use it for Gmail and Msn.
But i think it lacks some esential features such as checking e-mail accounts whenever you want. By the time i think it only advertises you about how many e-mails do you have in your account at the launching.
Also, although not imprescindible, it would be nice to be able to get the personal emotikones as in msn messenger.
Well despite these few lacking features i love all the customzations abailable for adium and i’d like to thank all those who are constantly developing and adding new functions.
Thanks again

I don’t know why, but after upgrading from 1.0.3b3 to b5 things worked fine. After a restart however, Adium wouldn’t launch. It just bounced in the dock, and my CPU went to max load using mds, and window server. I redownloaded and replaced the autoupdate 1.0.3b5 file with one downloaded from the site. This fixed the starting issue.

Big thanks, 1.0.3b5 gave me working MSN buddy icons again.
I love it!

File transfers in AIM still automatically cancel, so I’m switching back to iChat. Thanks, and good luck.

fugu: AIM file transfers work about 99.5% of the time for me now. Please file a Trac ticket (trac.adiumx.com), our proper support forum, and we’ll see what we can do to help.
